Are you ready to turn your "struggle 2 strength"? I certainly was at my breaking point not too long ago and realized something had to give! I didn't like the way I felt, I didn't like the way people treated me (or I allowed people to treat me), and I was in a rut, going no where, and at a rapid pace. Those who knew me then, praised my strength as they knew many of my struggles. What they didn't know is that I was far from a pillar, I was but a scarecrow; made of feathers and
What better time than now! Why put off until tomorrow what you can do today? We often tell ourselves we'll make changes tomorrow, or we'll take care of this or that tomorrow, or we'll be better tomorrow, but what I found is that tomorrow just births another tomorrow. And as I continued to procrastinate, I was still wallowing in my own self pity and misery. Does this sound familiar? Now is Your Time, Your Turn, to experience Transformation and Triumph! I had to make a choice
If any of you are like me, the word "struggle" would end in "s". Yes, I've had many struggles, and will continue to have them. What I had to do when I made up my mind to transform my life, was to recognize! I had to recognize and identify the struggles I was clinging and forming my life against, I had to recognize that struggles did not have to define me in a negative way, but rather shape and mold me into Macara Chanét! I had to recognize that struggles will come, but it's h
I just had a couple more things I wanted to share as a continuation of recognizing our struggles. Let's not give negative power to our grim life experiences. We can change how we allow our experiences to continue to manifest in our lives. Struggles are "Temporary!"
Do you LOVE yourself? Do you treat yourself as though you LOVE yourself? That was a difficult question for me for a long time. My immediate thought would be "of course", but then why am I sitting around feeling low and complaining about my appearance. Sometimes, you need a little something on the outside to help bring out something on the inside. When you have a date or an outing and you get all dolled up, don't you look in the mirror repeatedly or snap selfies and awe at you
In order to transform into your great pillar of strength, you must first believe that you can. Faith is key to transformation because you must envision and hope for the change to take place in you. You must have the substance of hope that the evidence of change will manifest and become evident in your life. Have the faith and exercise the faith that lies within and believe in your change.
Have you lost your way and now feel stuck? I know in the midst of my struggles I had become stagnant and felt swallowed up in a monotonous routine of things that did not bring me joy. I was not passionate about my life or what I had made of it. Part of getting out of my struggle involved me identifying those things that I am passionate about. I had to rediscover the parts of me that I enjoyed most and figure out how to incorporate them into my life. What brings you joy? What
What I believe to be the most important part of this process… THINK POSITIVE! In order to succeed at this journey of changing your view of negative life experiences, it is imperative to find positivity or even a “lesson learned” to continuously apply to your story. Affirmations, prayers, and poems are just some examples of ways to daily pump positivity into your being. Remember when you are transforming, positive reminders are crucial to the desired effect of strength your ar
Helping others in their struggle will ultimately help you in yours. There is an innate feeling of satisfaction when you set out to see past your own issues and help someone with theirs. The key is to be able to do so without an ulterior motive or expectation of something in return. Sometimes this expectation is subconscious, and we become givers based on the need of something that may have been lacking in our own lives. We have to recognize the existence of this type of expec
